Elizabeth L. Juelich is a partner at Krueger & Juelich, PLLC in Minnetonka, Minnesota.

Elizabeth dedicates herself to providing high-quality legal representation.  She involves her clients in each step of the process and is responsive and available to her clients.

Elizabeth recognizes that protecting her clients’ families and creating a solid plan for their personal and financial future is their highest priority.  Elizabeth understands that family law and estate planning issues are very personal and involve many considerations.  She has guided many clients through high-conflict divorces and custody disputes by addressing both the legal and emotional aspects in the matter.

Elizabeth believes that to provide on-point advice, attorneys should have an intimate understanding of their clients' wishes and needs.  Elizabeth values her clients’ perspectives, listens to their goals and priorities, and then helps them accomplish their objectives through legal and practical advice.  Elizabeth strives to resolve as many issues as possible through alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and informal settlement discussions, but she is prepared to litigate if an acceptable agreement can’t be reached.  Elizabeth also provides legal services under limited-scope representation agreements and through advice-only consultations.

Elizabeth’s prior experience in the areas of federal financial compliance consulting, underwriting, budget development, finance, and strategic planning is the foundation of her passion for analyzing complex financial information and advising business owners, officers, executives, and other high net-worth individuals and their spouses.

In addition, Elizabeth’s recognized experience in complex financial, business, and tax matters makes her a sought-after author and instructor.  Elizabeth has:

• Published articles in a statewide journal on the subjects of tax issues related to spousal maintenance and on dividing stock received through employee stock programs.

• Presented at both national and statewide forums on topics including tax issues, spousal maintenance, child support, dividing employee stock awards and retirement benefits, executive-compensation issues, and estate planning considerations in a divorce.

Elizabeth’s involvement with the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) Family Law Section and Probate and Trust Law Section allow her to keep up to date on important developments in the legal areas that she handles every day.  It also allows her to weigh in on legislative changes to improve the laws that impact her clients.

Elizabeth provides pro bono legal services by preparing tax returns for low-income individuals through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and by handling estate planning matters for first responders through the Wills for Heroes program.  She also serves as board chair of Two Rivers Community Land Trust, a nonprofit providing affordable housing for low-income and moderate-income individuals and families in Washington County, and she mentors law students and new attorneys.

Elizabeth was selected to the Minnesota Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015, a designation given to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the state.  She also received the 2013, 2014, and 2015 MSBA North Star Lawyer award in recognition of providing pro bono services in excess of 50 hours annually.
